The aims of the Journal of Measurement Automation Monitoring (MAM) are to provide an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original work that contributes to the understanding of the main and related disciplines from the area of mechanical engineering and automatics electronics and electrical engineering either empirical or theoretical. The Journal covers the whole spectrum of mechanical engineering and automatics electronics and electrical engineering. Manuscripts may fall into several categories including full articles, solicited reviews or commentary, and unsolicited review or commentary related to the mechanical engineering and automatics electronics and electrical engineering.
Since 2015 and currently, the magazine publishes articles in English.

The Journal of Measurement Automation Monitoring (MAM) continues the long tradition of the Polish journal Pomiary Automatyka Kontrola (PAK).
The journal PAK was a monthly scientific and technical magazine published by the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (in Polish SIMP). For over 50 years, the PAK has been a valued scientific and technical magazine on the Polish market, dedicated to scientists and practitioners shaping and developing their scientific and professional interests.
Currently, the role of publisher and continuator of the publication achievements of the PAK magazine has been taken over by the Opole University of Technology in the English version of the Measurement Automation Monitoring journal.
