Privacy Statement
General information
Since May 25th 2018, Regulation (EC) of the European Parliament and of the Council No 2016/679 of April 27th 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data as well as on repealing of Directive 95/46/WE (RODO) has been applied.
According to these changes, we inform that our websites use mechanisms (“cookies” files) aiming to collect and process personal data. Their collection enables us to provide high quality of IT services involving our WWW sites as well as to optimise their functioning. We apply them for the sake of analysing the traffic in our sites.
OUTech sites use “cookies” files for the purposes set out in the following policies. The conditions of storage and gaining access to the “cookie” may be specified in the applied software, e.g. Internet browser.
When using Internet pages of OUTech without changing the software settings (e.g. Internet search engine) and by clicking “I agree” button or closing the information window concerning the privacy policy on our sites, consent to apply the mechanisms aiming to collect data including the following provisions is stated.

„Cookies” files
Cookies files constitute IT data, in particular text files, which is stored in the terminal equipment of a service user and they are designed to operate Internet pages of a service. “Cookies” files usually contain the Internet page name of their origin, time of storage on a terminal equipment, IP address and a unique number.
The applied “cookies” files particularly aim at optimisation of the OUTech Internet pages use, generation of statistics concerning the traffic and at maintaining users sessions after logging into specific pages (it is unnecessary to repeat login and password during a specified time of a session).
Our pages operate with session cookies, i.e. temporary files which are stored in a terminal equipment of a visitor till the logout time , leaving the page or deactivating a software (e.g. Internet browser).
Also, our pages operate with external “cookie” files which enable to cooperate with external services. They are performance cookie files which provide analytic services with information on the popularity of the service (statistics involving the use of our website – Google Analytics) and the files connected with social media or multimedia services (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube).
Blocking "cookies"
Internet browsers, i.e. standard software suitable for viewing Internet sites provides using cookies by default. However, such settings may be changed to disable the automatic operations of cookies files in a browser or to inform about each attempt of sending them onto the user’s device. Detailed information on the options and methods of managing cookies files are available in the software settings, e.g. Internet browser.
Important note: restricting the use of cookies may affect the functionality of OUTech web pages.
Data transfer
The collected data is used for own goals but it may also be transferred to other subjects in order to optimise the use of our web pages, to generate statistics of traffic (Google Analytics) or to exploit plug-ins or other tools originating in social or multimedia services (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube).
Data access and liabilities
Every user of our web pages is liable to demand access to their data for the sake of correcting, completing or transferring the data and requesting deletion or restriction of their data processing.
Any user is also entitled to object to their personal data processing as well as to file a complaint to a supervising body dealing with personal data protection (PUODO).
Stating consent
The consent is voluntary and it consists of clicking „I agree” button or closing an information window concerning the privacy policy on our Web pages. It is possible to withdraw your consent by deleting cookies files and changing the settings of your software, e.g. Internet browser.
