Aims and Scope

Sustainable Production, Instrumentation and Engineering Sciences is an open access, cross-disciplinary journal aimed at promoting sustainable practices in all fields of science and engineering. Contributions are invited that consider any stage of the entire life cycle of a product or system, including, but not limited to: design, prototype, manufacturing, testing, exploitation and maintenance, reliability, recycling etc., with particular focus on sustainability aspects.

We publish original research papers with highlighted novelty and contribution in the field of sustainability. Practical papers and case studies in which examples of good present practice can be described and disseminated are also particularly sought. Survey or review papers are welcomed as well, as far as they make a journal-level technical contribution, such as a novel taxonomy that will guide other researchers, deep analysis with new findings that were previously unknown, or identifying gaps and providing new insights that weren't known before.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editors, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind and submission is entirely online via the author's dashborad
