This archive investigates the sustainable utilizations of Additive manufacturing(AM), specially focusing on energy consumption. The advantages of AM concerning with reduced material waste, design optimization, light weighing, local manufacturing and on-demand production are helpful in reducing energy consumption are discussed. By minimizing waste, maximizing resource utilization and lowering energy consumption AM can contribute to a manufacturing process that is environment friendly and sustainable. It additionally contrasts the ecological effects of AM and conventional manufacturing methods. The findings underscore the potential of AM in accomplishing sustainability objectives and improving the over-all efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing industry.
